Better Streets for Birmingham is made up of a membership base and a committee. We have a constitution. You can join as a member online and it is free of charge.
We hold open meetings on the first Monday of every month. They run from 6pm until 8pm at The Warehouse, 54-57 Allison Street, Birmingham, B5 5TH. There is good cycle parking provision.
You do not need to be a member of Better Streets for Birmingham to attend these meeting. Attendance is free of charge.
John Munro, one of our members, organises the dates and venue for our general meetings.
The committee sets the direction of the group and makes decisions about how it is run. Committee members are unpaid volunteers. Anyone can register interest in joining the committee by reaching out to a committee member.
There are 11 positions on the committee and roles last on a 1-year term basis. The most recent changes happened at the AGM on Monday 25 March 2024. All roles next expire in March 2025.

Committee meetings are held on the last Monday of every month, usually via Microsoft Teams.
Two non-committee members are welcome to join a committee meeting as an observer by letting the Secretary know in advance.
