General meetings
We hold open meetings on the first Monday of every month. They run from 6pm until 8pm at The Warehouse, 54-57 Allison Street, Birmingham, B5 5TH. There is good cycle parking provision.
You do not need to be a member of Better Streets for Birmingham to attend these meetings. Attendance is free of charge.
John Munro, one of our members, organises the dates and venue for our general meetings.
Who can join
You can become a member of Better Streets for Birmingham if you:
- Live, work or play in Birmingham
- Support our mission statement, vision and goals
You can also sign up for updates as a stakeholder. This means we will occasionally reach out with updates but you won’t get day-to-day communications for our members. When you fill in the sign up form, explain that you’re a stakeholder.

Expectations
We do not ask for members to commit any time to the group and joining is free of charge. If you would like to give time, you can ask to join the committee.
We expect our members to:
- Advocate our mission, vision and values
- Be respectful when engaging with other people and groups on social media
- Respect other members’ privacy
