Circle the City

First Friday of the month, 6pm start, meet at Hippodrome Square, city centre

Instead of a place designed around the movement of cars, what if Birmingham became a city made for the movement of people?!?

Circle the City offers a way to imagine if Birmingham made inclusive mobility a priority. Taking place each month, this initiative has two simultaneous contingents:

• A 10km cycle ride, set at an inclusive pace to ensure riders of all levels, ages, and abilities can come along
• A 1km walk and wheel, for pedestrians, wheelchair users, and others who wish to move at similar speed

Both contingents meet and leave from Hippodrome Square at 6 pm and, after about 1 hour and 15 minutes, meet back up at Victoria Square.

Meet people, learn new cycling/walking/wheeling routes, reimagine our city, join the call for infrastructure that will facilitate green and inclusive modes of mobility, and enjoy the fun and freedom of moving together through our city. All ages and all abilities are welcome. The more the merrier!
